Hi there- me lovely followers!
Just a quick update as things are still progressing well towards production and the long-awaited print run of ‘Magical Mossy in Boscastle’
As far as I’m aware, everything is still on track for all pre-ordered books to be posted out/ on shop shelves etc, for the beginning of the summer school hols -YAY!

๐๐The second edit has now been completed and I’ve had chance to review the very small changes and corrections to grammar (whoops!) in order to make it the best version of the book, as possible.๐๐
Again, I’m SO grateful to the wonderful Sarah Dawes! (Can highly recommend!)
If you’ve got a book in you & should ever need an editor/ proofreader, she can be contacted at thankthecat@gmail.com
The only thing we disagreed on was a very small poem I’d added at the front of the book- where I used the phrase ‘ he & she’. Sarah, rightly pointed out that this was poor grammar & was probably wrong to include it in a children’s book!
However- just as I began writing this blogpost to ‘me’ followers ( cornish dialect) – Mossy & Kismet, who wrote the poem ๐, are ‘proper’ cornish, which I aspire to be one day!
( Think the transition happens after about 50 years of living the right side of the Tamar, lol)
………………..therefore that be ‘ow they be speaking & anyhow, the character ‘ Bridge’ ( another Kid of Kernow) who appears in Book 3, speaks like this all the way through the book as she’s as ancient as Kernow be, itself!
All’s well that ends well & the poem is staying, now that Sarah appreciates I hadn’t taken leave of my senses, lol!

Even though life is still keeping me pre-occupied with other things – ie hospitals & nursing homes- I am managing to promote the book whenever I can and pre-orders are still being very gratefully received.
If you see any of my posts re –pre-ordering please share on social media and tell friends & family who you think may be interested in ‘ Magical Mossy in Boscastle’ – as that seems to be the best way for little ventures like mine to be successful. And, if the book’s successful then that means that more children will learn the tools to create more magical lives for themselves – what a great way to pay forward for the next generation.
Thank you all for helping- much appreciated
Till next week,
Duw genowgh hwi ( Goodbye! )
