My books have grown wings!

Hi there, everyone!

Just a quick blogpost today as the Christmas spirit has descended upon me & I am getting ready to go to Boscastle, shortly – to shop, eat & be merry.

BOSCASTLE HARBOUR

It is Boscastle’s late night shopping this evening- along with the turning on of the Christmas tree lights, followed by carol singers….during which, hubby & I will be sneaking away for a welcomed warm-up & meal at ‘ The Welly’ otherwise known as The Wellington Hotel.

The ‘WELLY’

BUT….before all of that, I just wanted to let you know that the Kids of Kernow books’ messages are spreading far & wide! I’m having to regularly re-stock shops as they sell out, the books have now also attracted the attention of the local press & one lovely lady has bought books 1 & 2 and is sending them to her grandson, in Sweden – where he will read them out to his classmates in a bi-lingual school!! YAY!!

I love it when a plan comes together & by that, I mean, knowing that these empowering messages are now reaching far & wide – beyond the limited number of children- that I would have had in my caseload, if I’d stayed working in education!

LONG MAY THIS REIGN!

This is what I was up to last Sunday!

It means me attending more & more local craft fayres- like this one in Chilsworthy, Devon, last week & allowing dodgy photos to be taken, for inclusion in local papers!

BUT IF THATS WHAT IT TAKES….I’LL DO IT!

Till next week….wishing you all a very happy weekend & just the hint of the Christmas spirit, whether it be atmospheric or from a glass!

ENJOY!
