Hi there- lovely followers,
here’s my last blogpost of 2021- & what a year- it’s been!
From deciding, in March – to concentrate on getting my 1st book published to actually getting the first 2 published, in time for Christmas of the same year!

Here’s a picture from my first ever blogpost- back in March.

I remember being terrified putting that picture out there for scrutiny & with your helpful suggestions to colour it in & go for it- it actually ended up being the map inside the cover of Book 1😲

Apart from a break whilst holidaying in Scotland I’ve also blogged weekly & your support has meant SO much to me- as writing & self-publishing can be a very lonely business at times.
With your encouragement & support behind me I had a proper book launch with Andy Templar, my phenomenally talented illustrator, for Book 1 in August….. and then, continued to gain stockists, thereafter!

Bude Library now also stock both books as well as 15 other stockists!
Book 1 even went on to won an award😲

That certainly would not have been possible without your votes & reviews ….
On behalf of the little girl who was allowed to get out of Maths lessons in primary school because her story-writing was SO much better than her Maths ( Thank you Mr Jenner )-
…to becoming an award-winning author !
THANK YOU FOR HELPING ME MAKE MY DREAM COME TRUE

It really does give me a buzz knowing that the important messages my books contain are reaching children across Britain & the World and that they are being so warmly received, by everyone who reads them. ❤️
Fast forward 9 months & local stockists continue to sell-out & I am really looking forward to working on Book 3 with my team next year.
WATCH THIS SPACE – BOOK 3 ‘ A Bridge Too Far in Tintagel?’– is due to be on the shelves in time for the summer school holidays 2022.
I do feel truly blessed – thank you ALL – SO MUCH!

I’ll be continuing with my blogposts from Friday January 7th 2022 – talking all things Book 3 & no doubt asking for your expert advice again on maps , amongst many other things!
Until then- I wish each & everyone of you a safe, peaceful & very Happy Christmas XXX
( AND HAPPY READING, OF COURSE!)
