Hi everyone!
Sorry for the recent radio silence – but A LOT has been going on behind the scenes & I can now share a picture of Bridge with you- the next Kid of Kernow that we meet in the 3rd book in the children’s series ‘Kids of Kernow’

Apart from Bridge, you’ll also meet her pair of besotted magpies, Captain & Joy…..

You’ll have to read the story to see what Kismet the raven thinks of them!
In fact, not surprisingly, Kismet has quite a strong opinion about Bridge too!
So, why does Bridge wear her- umm- unusual clothing & carry a giant wand?
Well- she adores Kernow ( having spent many lifetimes there) and therefore- in her mind- dresses accordingly.
To quote Kismet from the book, (trying to impress Bridge with his knowledge)-
“The black and gold of your dress are the colours associated with the Kings of Cornwall, from King Thanor to King Mark. Your red tights and hair grips represent the red beak and legs of the Cornish Chough. The black and white in the centre of your wand represents the Kernow flag and the blue crystals that you cram, err I mean beautifully display, all over yourself, represent the blue of the Atlantic Ocean that surrounds this ancient land of Kernow.”
Why the tiara?
Well, Bridge just likes it, plus it helps tame her unruly hair!
